Rea Patalidou

Rea Patalidou D.V.M graduated from the Veterinary School of Thessaloniki (A.U.TH.) in 1978 and she earned a post-graduate degree in hygienology from the National School of Public Health in 1979.
She has been active as a veterinarian in Glyfada from 1981.Rea was born in Istanbul, and has been living in Greece since 1965.
She is married to actor Christos Biros and has a daughter, Katerina Birou who graduated from the Veterinary School of University of Thessaly (U.TH).

Katerina Birou D.V.M. graduated from the Veterinary School of University of Thessaly in 2017.

Growing up with animals as constant companions, she became fascinated with veterinary science at an early age.

Later, she decided to follow in her mother's footsteps and devote herself professionally to taking care of animals.

Katerina has trained in 4 different veterinary centers in Athens and, for 2 months, in the university's clinic at Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB), practicing on Internal Medicine of Companion Animals. She has also gained the title of Diabetes Advisor after participating in an online training course in 2017.

She speaks English  and Spanish   fluently!

At university she was a member of the Board of IVSA, the International Veterinary Students Association, for two consecutive years. Through IVSA, Katerina helped organize and participated in conferences and seminars with the goal of improving Veterinary Science and the learning horizons of veterinary students in Greece.
